Kelleen Thornock, PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Kelleen is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and graduate of South University who joined the MVP team in April, 2019. She has experience in both outpatient and skilled nursing rehabilitation. Kelleen focuses on listening to understand patients and their needs, guiding them in understanding each part of their plan of care in order to most effectively help them meet their goals. She actively participates in continuing education and believes providing evidence based practice is key to best patient outcomes. Her professional special interests include neurodynamics, postural restoration, and balance/vestibular rehabilitation.

Kelleen is an advocate for diabetes education and aims to work toward helping the American Physical Therapy Association adopt diabetes as a specialty. Kelleen was a competitive ballroom dancer who continues to enjoy salsa dancing and teaching dance in her free time. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children, kickboxing, and reading any good book she can get her hands on.
